Reflecting on a Memorable Experience

Throwback to a wonderful experience: my very first visit to China in May 2024, on the occasion of an invitation to perform my own piano concerto with the remarkable Beijing Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the talented young conductor Wilson Ng from Hong Kong. The celebratory opening concert for China's biggest contemporary music festival, Beijing Modern Music Festival, took place in the grand hall of the stunning "egg" concert hall, officially known as the National Centre for Performing Arts, which was designed by the renowned French architect Paul Andreu in 2007.
